Overview

Our client – Hero MotoCorp, is an India-based company that manufactures two-wheelers. The two-wheeler brand is perfect for providing comfort, style, and affordable service to ride vehicles. Engineering characteristics of Hero MotoCorp have been presented at a high standard for over three decades. They wanted to develop a web feature where users could advertise a used bicycle or swap a new one. For the development of the web solution that loaded fast, they teamed up with PHP Experts India. Originally, we created a web-based marketplace in the context of pre-owned two-wheelers to address the problem of adverse selection.

Our Process

When Hero approached us and wanted to have a one-of-its-kind website feature that is specifically dedicated to used two-wheelers, it is a platform for the easy sale of old bikes. The biggest task was to design features defining the client’s expectations. They wish to deliver targeted services for users and increase specific interaction. Essentially the web solution must be prepared for each state of India, and they must be able to operate from there as well.

Project Challenges

1. Feature Inclusion

Hero wanted us to design a new feature on the Web that had never existed before, it is a platform for smoothly selling old bikes. The greatest difficulty of this design brief was in developing features that would correspond to the client’s requirements and expectations.

They aim to deliver targeted services to the users besides enhancing the experience or client interaction. The web solution must be built for the entire operation in India. 

Results

PHP Experts India was engaged to design a pre-owned bike-selling platform for Hero, right from the ground up. A successful digital platform with the immediate assessment of the used bikes depending on the bike model, make, and state was included. Earlier there was no such element of sale and exchange of used bikes available in the market. For operation across the geography of India, the client business was optimized and the business significantly increased.

After the launching of this app, the clients got the advantage of fast market coverage with expansion in their business all over India. Through the comfortable and stylish design, the application activated more users, increasing their rate of evolution.
